Governor Elect Jay Nixon in Branson today to meet with Republicans

Jay Nixon is meeting with Missouri's Republican leadership in Branson today marking an environment of forced bipartisanship. November elections left a Republican majority in the state legislature with Democrats easing into the top spots.

Last week Jay Nixon met with President Elect Barack Obama where billions in new funds towards infrastructure were discussed as a means of stimulating the nations dismal economic environment.

Missouri's Budget shows coffers are $340,000,000 short of projected expenditures prompting Nixon to regress on campaign promises immediately after taking office.

In other news, three Branson area residents were cited as being part of Nixon's transition team.
